My brother loves Clint Eastwood, which is why he was scandalized when he found out recently that I had never seen a Clint Eastwood movie. He decided he needed to show me the greatness that is Clint, and I said, sure, fine, whatever. So today we were supposed to get together and have a marathon. He, however, has no attention span, so we ended up with only one. Seeing as my first Clint movie had to be a western, and "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," is "like 5 hours long" (or 2 hours and 47 minutes), he decided the best one would be "The Outlaw Josey Wales."
Basic premise: bad guys kill Josey's family, Josey goes out to kill the bad guys.
It was alright. It was a western, and I think that's my feeling towards most of them (except "Shane," which was dumb, and "Tombstone," which I just don't get the appeal of). There were some intentionally funny moments, and a few moments when I just had to laugh at Clint being all tough.
I didn't mind watching it. As long as I was watching it with my brother. He asked if I wanted to borrow "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," but I really don't see myself watching one of these by myself. But now I can say that I've seen a Clint Eastwood movie. So there we go.

and a Clint Eastwood movie that isn't "Bridges of Madison County" -- b/c that probably wouldn't count ;)
I don't know if I've seen one of his movies either, now that I think about it...
Haven't you seen "Paint Your Wagon"?
Don't waste your time on "Unforgiven". Oscar winners are not always worth seeing.
yeah, 'bridges of madison county' doesn't count
and no, i haven't seen 'paint your wagon.' and joe jr. can't figure out why you're an 'unforgiven' hater.
All I remember of it was that it was about whores. Your aunt walked out of the theater because she hated it so much.
