I thought of a time my brother didn't give in

When I was little, being so much younger than my brother meant that I usually got my way. Like always drafting Mr. Mookie, when Joe Jr. and I were wrestling I always chose to be Junkyard Dog. He was my favorite. And see how nice Joe Jr. was? He always let me be JYD. Much nicer than my mother who, when I wanted a Junkyard Dog comforter for my room, only bought a Junkyard Dog school folder for me (and a comforter with ruffles and light pink flowers).
Until one day when Joe Jr. decided to not be nice anymore. He tricked me into letting him choose who he wanted to be first, and then he chose Junkyard Dog. I was so mad. I yelled and whined and he would not change. I'm sure I threatened to not play, and I'm sure he said he didn't care. Honestly, it's the only time I remember him not giving in. It was infuriating. I ended up having to be Hulk Hogan. It was a sad day.

I love Mom's compromise on the JYD comforter. The things you miss out on when you're away at college...

And hey, at least you didn't have to be Jesse the Body.

Just so you know, Joe Jr. laughed at you the other day when I mentioned this to him.
