And I am reading "Canterbury Tales" (amongst other things). And I am loving it. Way too much. Even my mother is calling me a geek. "Who just reads Chaucer for fun?!" But how can I not love it?
'It nere,' quod he, 'to thee no greet honour
For to be fals, ne for to be traitour
To me, that am thy cosyn and they brother
Ysworn ful depe, and ech of us til oother,
That nevere, for to dyen in the peyne,
Til that the deeth departe shal us tweyne,
Neither of us in love to hyndre oother,
Ne in noon oother cas, my leeve brother;
But that thou sholdest trewely forthren me
In every cas, as I shal forthren thee,
This was thyn ooth, and myn also, certeyn;
I woot right wel, thou darst it nat withseyn....'
This is a simple part, but it gives an idea. It's so fun!

Just wait until you get to some of the other tales though. They aren't very clean... (probably even in Olde English!;)
You keep confusing me with your blog title changes. I keep posting and then worrying I posted on the wrong post! :P
Has it really been this long since I've been on here? Sorry.
I was all set to read Christopher Plummer, but now Erma has to read Frankenstein for school, so I'm reading that. I think I'd rather read Chaucer.
