Place Review: Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary

My best friend and I went there yesterday because she had seen it on a website full of free places to go and neither of us had ever been there. How the heck we've lived in Minneapolis all our lives and never discovered this wonderful place I'll never know. It's beautiful. You completely forget that you're in the city (well, except for the fact that you can hear the freeway nearby). It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be, but there were hardly any people. (Maybe I shouldn't be telling people about it. It was so nice and quiet.) It would be a great place to go and read a book or pray. I just have to remember next time that, oh yeah, I have allergies.

are there pictures of it somewhere (online)? (oh, I guess I could check myself...;) If it's like a botanical center, we always went to ours for field trips when I was in elementary school so I got tired of it, which is too bad, b/c I'm sure it's really pretty! Good for you guys for trying new (and free!:) things! :)
