i don't see the season connection, except perhaps that you had more visitors in the summer.
i ended up going last night and bringing one to my father to eat whether he liked it or not. the blizzard of the month for the holidays was peppermint chip and it was really yummy. i wanted to have one before they were gone!

Well, some people (not us) might not want ice cream in the dead of winter. But I'm glad you got your ice cream -- and the holiday kind too! :)
I would have gone with you. Or you could have sent the free one to me.
